GiantessRun v.11 released, v1.2 on the works


I’m back at developing new GiantessRun levels and bugfixes. Version 1.1 was a test for server download and decreasing the game size, but I’m returning at importing all assets into the game for v1.2.

Since last month, my server isn’t avaliable anymore, then this game will crash at the “Download” menu and will stay empty, that’s why I’m launching a minor update before. This update:

  • Removes the “Download” menu, and re-adds all game assets
  • Recover high-res version of each artwork, compressed in v1.06
  • Adds a hi-score (timer and coins)
  • Better physics, like delayed jump
  • Bugfixes.

This gamecode was also updated from Godot Engine 3.3.2 to 3.5.1 with a different signature, so the savefiles can be incompatible, crashing at startup. In this case, you must remove the savefiles and start anew. I’m really sorry for this inconvenience.

This update is avaliable for Windows and Linux (as I still don’t have a MacBook to export and test).
